Pals4Pets in the Sussex region is run by Jane Palmer who is based in
Heathfield, East Sussex. Jane has a lot of experience in care for both dogs
and cats, having looked after many different breeds, both large and small
over the years. Coming from a sales and management background, Jane has
brought her organisational skills to the business. Reliability and a high
standard of service are assured to all clients using Pals4Pets.
Pals4Pets offers a variety of professional pet care services, tailoring,
where required, the service to a client’s particular needs and offering

most popular service is one to one dog home boarding” says Jane “our clients
like to know that their dogs are receiving lots of love and care and their
needs are being met by like minded animal lovers. Our clients return again
and again – actions speak louder than words!”
Pals4Pets also offers other services such as: dog walking, dog day care,
dog and pet sitting, house sitting, cat feeding, cat care, cat cuddle hours
and small animal care, puppy care, puppy sitting.
Pet
transport to either a vet or another destination is offered for all animals.
Pals4Pets prides themselves on the standards of their pet sitters. Jane
says” all of my animal carers are carefully selected for their pet sitting
abilities. We only use experienced animal owners. People who have
previously owned or worked with dogs are high on our list of requirements –
none of my dog boarders own a dog now – therefore visiting dogs get a very
high level of attention!. They understand the needs of our doggie clients
and miss the company of a dog of their own. They are ideally placed to offer
lots of one to one attention to someone else’s dog. Many of my pet sitters,
dog walkers and cat feeders are active retired folk who have plenty of time
on their hands. They are all initially interviewed by me in their own
homes. We take up references and police checks if they will be entering
client’s houses. They are trained by us, licensed where required and
covered of course by our comprehensive liability insurance. More and more
people now are wishing for their cats to remain in their own home, whilst
they are on holiday or away with work. Pals4Pets can provide cat sitters
and cat feeders to visit during the day and feed, change litter and give
cuddles. For both dogs and cats we can provide pet sitters to live in the
home for the duration of a holiday and continue the animals routine in the
owners absence. This works exceptionally for multiple animal owning
families or animals that are elderly or infirm. It reduces stress for
everyone concerned if they remain in their own home. It also eliminates the
need for those frantic trips at the start and end of a holiday to the kennel
or cattery. How lovely to be greeted by your dog/s or cat/s at your front
door when you return from holiday! All of my pet carers work to our high
standards of care, keeping records of their assignments and keeping in
contact regularly. All of my pet sitters, dog walkers, dog boarders, cat
feeders and house sitters have access to Pals4Pets unique 24 hour
helpline. They are never alone. Although I operate a franchise, we are a
close knit group of people. I generally have around 30 animal loving ladies
and gentlemen working for me and I know them all personally and would trust
them with my own pets.”
